The lawsuit, which is seeking class-action filed against Dallas-based Match.com was filed by Sean McGinn of Brooklyn, N.Y., on behalf of otherr Match.com users or former users impacted bythe company’s allegedx actions. ” The plaintifvf in the suit also alleged that Match “defrauds the consumer of his/her time and personal investment everyg time a person pays Match’s subscription fee and writes to a member who won’tr have the ability to read what they wrot e or see their profile.” In the the plaintiff accuses Matcuh of putting users in a position wheree they feel humiliated by e-mails that they send withoug a reply from the unsubscribed The plaintiff’s suit also alleges that he and othe r class members have been defrauded out of millions in “aggregateed fees and compensatory damages.
