The Cristo Rey Network, foundede in 2002, comprises 22 schools - serving more than 5,300 studentes - and uses an innovative work-study model to provided a quality, college prep education to economically challenged younhg men and women in urban communities acrosw theUnited States. Ninety-five percent of Cristpo Rey students areracial minorities; 34 percent are Africabn American and 55 percent are Latino.
