St. Thomas University Selected as a National Partner to the Cristo Rey Network


The Cristo Rey initiative seeks to formalize and deepebn strategic relationships with colleges and universities committexd to ensuring college success for Cristoo ReyNetwork students. The Cristo Rey Network, foundede in 2002, comprises 22 schools - serving more than 5,300 studentes - and uses an innovative work-study model to provided a quality, college prep education to economically challenged younhg men and women in urban communities acrosw theUnited States. Ninety-five percent of Cristpo Rey students areracial minorities; 34 percent are Africabn American and 55 percent are Latino.
